Connor Schaeper

I grew up in Cincinnati Ohio and always had a knack for doing things my own way. In 4th grade I even started a business selling paper frogs to my classmates for 25 cents a piece. The operation was soon shut down. School didn’t seem to like those who thought outside the box. By college time I knew I wanted something other than a degree and corporate job so I joined an internship that taught college aged kids how to start and run their own painting business. The lessons I learned there showed me that with enough desire/effort you can be your own boss.

From there I started and ran a network marketing business for about 4 years. This was essentially my “college.” I learned sales, training, hiring, pitching, closing, you name it. I traveled across the country speaking to thousands of young people and mentoring others in business. I made a lot of money for a young kid. Even earning a company Mercedes! It was my first taste of success.

After a season of spiritual awakening my desires shifted from simply wanting success to wanting to live a fulfilling life. I found the insurance industry and never looked back. I started in the life insurance business and learned that having leads meant no selling to friends/family needed. I learned that with an internet connection and a phone… I was in business.

Finally I found AO Financial and USABG. Everything clicked. A product people really want and a system designed to help me offer it. After only 8 months in I already had a 6 figure renewal income. I went on multiple trips on the carrier’s dime. My family was growing and we even were blessed to buy a new house and van. Now only 16 months in, I’m blessed to be financially secure with multiple six figures in renewals. Better yet, I’m more present than ever with my family. My desire now is to help new agents find that same type of freedom and success.
